I have posted the KC0TKS/B beacon log to the beacon page . It is amazing how far you can communicate with 5 watts on a 'dead band'.
10's not dead, it's just resting!
New Antenna Project

I have posted plans for a new project under 'Antennas' in the Projects area. It is a 10 meter J-Pole.
I built this a month or so ago for my 10 meter beacon and have been testing it and it works very well. I thought I would have to wait until the spring storms to wind test it but living in Missouri, you just may get thunderstorms in January and that is exactly what happened. 51 mph winds one day and 50 the next so my testing is complete and the plans have been published.
If you have any questions about the 10 Meter J-Pole Project, feel free to email me.

Help Wanted

I started this website last year as a means to provide to the amateur community, some of the information and knowledge I have gathered about amateur radio.
When I started the site, I had plenty of time on my hands to keep it up and filled with new information. As time has gone by, I find myself with less and less time to devote to the site. While looking over the website stats, I find that the hits to the site have quadrupled in the last few months.
So, here goes, I'm going to start begging. Not for money like some sites do, rather for some help keeping the site filled with interesting, relevent information to amateurs.
If anyone visiting this site has anything to offer the amateur community, whether it be a project to build, the audio from your local net, a new poll, an interesting link or just a tidbit of ham radio news, please drop me an email at
.
Suggestions for something you would like to see added to the site are also encouraged.
Don't forget to join us on the Morgan County ARES net Thursdays, 8:00pm 147.39
Welcome!
I put this site together to be able to share with others, the exciting things I have discovered in Amateur Radio.
Help me keep this site filled with fresh ideas - Email me and submit an article, FAQ, news or a favorite link pertaining to Amateur Radio and I will publish it on this site.
Suggestions for additions to the site are also welcome.
